Starr Hill Monticello Reserve Ale
My sister brought me back a bottle of Starr Hill Monticello Reserve Ale from the Monticello. The beer pours a golden color with a bubbly white colored head. The aroma consists of lemon, biscuit, wheat, and light caramel. The taste is biscuity and has a strong lemon presence. It has a dry finish with some grass notes and a hint of pepper. The alcohol content is 5.5% ABV. It was very interesting to taste a beer that was made from a recipe of a former President. I wouldn’t say it was the best tasting beer, but I liked tasting history.
