Full Pint Night of the Living Stout
The final beer I had a Fat Head's in Pittsburgh on a recent trip was Full Pint Night of the Living Stout. The beer pours a black color a thin brown colored head. The aroma consists of chocolate, vanilla, milk, caramel, and toasted malts. The taste is dry and chocolaty with a big toasted malt profile. Milk, caramel, and vanilla come out on the finish to mellow it out and the flavors remain on the tongue for some time. The alcohol content is 7.1% ABV. What a night cap this beer was! If you love bold chocolaty stouts, this is the beer for you (as it was me). All in all, another winner from Full Pint!

Industry Public House Copper Ale
The other house beer on tap at Industry Public House in Pittsburgh is the Copper Ale, also brewed by Full Pint Brewing. The beer pours a dark caramel color with a thin bubbly white head. The aroma consists of caramel, toffee, and grass. The taste is dry with toasted malt, caramel, and toffee. A grassy finish with a hint of pepper is left behind on the tongue. I assumed by taste that this beer was a renamed All-in Amber from Full Pint. The alcohol content is not available online, but I would assume it to be about 5.5% ABV. This was decent and dry amber ale with a solid sweet base. There is enough grass and pepper to balance out the sweetness and provide a good drinking beer.

Industry Public House IPA
While in Pittsburgh for Craft Beer Week I decided to stop in to a new establishment called Industry Public House. On tap, they had two house brews, one of which was the IPA, and I ordered a glass. My server indicated that this beer was brewed by Full Pint Brewing. The beer pours an orange-amber color with a thin bubbly white head. The aroma consists of orange, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, and pine. The taste is bitter and citrusy with lots of grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon with a pine and pepper finish. After tasting the beer, I think it was a renamed Chinookie IPA. The alcohol content of Chinookie IPA is 6.2% ABV, so I would assume this to be the same. I love the Chinookie IPA, and Industry Public House sells their house beers for $3 during sporting events, making it a great deal.

Full Pint Rye Rebellion
While at Fat Head’s in Pittsburgh, I ordered a glass of Full Pint Rye Rebellion. The beer pours a black color with a brown filmy head. The aroma consists of chocolate, vanilla, rye, and toasted malts. The taste is bold and dry with lots of dark chocolate, hints of vanilla, and a rye spiciness that peeks through on the finish. Caramel, coffee, and toasted malts also present, and the aftertaste has a bourbon dryness. The alcohol content is 11.0% ABV. This was an excellent beer from this young Western PA brewer, and I was really impressed with it. The bourbon was present but nicely subdued in the background with a wonderful compliment of chocolate and vanilla flavors.

Full Pint Rumpelpilsen
I picked up a bottle of Full Pint Rumpelpilsen from Brass Rail in Campbelltown as part of a mixed six-pack. The beer pours a pale yellow color with a frothy off-white colored head that leaves bits of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of lemon, grass, caramel, toffee, and butterscotch. The taste is slightly bitey with pepper and grassy hops right up front with a hint of carbonation. Caramel, toffee, and butterscotch come out in the finish to sweeten up the beer. The alcohol content is 5.2% ABV. This was a rather solid, and slightly bitter, pilsner that I fully enjoyed. The grassy and peppery hops really made the beer, dominating the slightly sweet base.
