Brauerei Ayinger Weizen-bock

I picked up a bottle of Brauerei Ayinger Weizen-bock. Ayinger is better known for Celebrator, which I absolutely love. This beer has a yellow-gold color with a lofty bubbly white head. The aroma consists of wheat with light lemon accent. The taste is is sweet and malty with a light lemon accent in the flavor, but mostly yeast dominates the tongue. The alcohol content is 7.1% ABV. I thought this was very smooth drinking and sweet, but also very enjoyable.

Brauerei Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock

While out at McGrath's, I ordered a bottle of Brauerei Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock. The beer is a dark amber color with thin filmy head. It has a light malty aroma with caramel hints. The taste is malty and smooth with caramel and toffee flavors. It finishes with a good alcohol bite. The alcohol content is 6.7% ABV. I think that the Celebrator is an over the top excellent beer and I like how it comes with a little trinket on every bottle.
