Liquid Hero Imperial Stout

At Imminent Liquidation, I won a growler of Liquid Hero Imperial Stout. The beer pours a black color with a frothy tan colored head that leaves a lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of chocolate, toasted malts, vanilla, pine, lemon, and pepper. The taste is bold with rich, dark chocolate and a robust toasted malt profile. It hits really hard with fresh hops that give it some citrus flavors including lemon, tangerine, grapefruit, and orange. A light pepper spice comes out before vanilla and caramel sweetness in the aftertaste. The alcohol content is 8.5% ABV. This was a bold and very robust stout with an aggressive and forward hop profile that keeps the drinking experience extremely enjoyable.

Liquid Hero Hop Hero #6- Double IPA

My buddy Ed brought over a bottle of Liquid Hero Hop Hero #6- Double IPA to share with friends. The beer pours an amber color with a frothy cream colored head that leaves a thin lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of caramel, tangerine, orange, and grapefruit. The taste is dry and bitter with orange, tangerine, and passion fruit punishing the tongue. There is a peppery finish, but no hop oils left behind. The alcohol content is 9.5% ABV. This was a tasty Double IPA with a good citrus content. I wouldn’t say it was the most intense Double IPA I’ve had, but very enjoyable and somewhat easy drinking.

Liquid Hero Hop Hero #7

My buddy Ed brought over a growler of Liquid Hero Hop Hero #7 Lots-O-Citra. The beer pours an amber color with a thin bubbly white head. The aroma consists of tangerine, grapefruit, passion fruit, orange, and caramel. The taste is dry and bitter with plenty of citrus flavors including grapefruit, tangerine, orange, and passion fruit. A pepper finish rounds out the beer with a lemon accent. The alcohol content is 6.5% ABV. This was a pretty delicious IPA with lots of citrus flavors. I’m a big fan of the citra hop, so this beer was right down my alley.
