My buddy Brad brought some of his homebrew,
Grandview Brewing Berry Nice Tripel. The beer pours a red-tinted amber color with a thin filmy white head. The aroma consists of raspberries, blackberries, pie crust, and vinegar. The taste is light and dry with a very blackberry and raspberry forward flavor. There is a bit of a banana background with some vinegar and candy-like flavor peeking through. The alcohol content is 10.2% ABV. This beer models itself after a sour candy rather than a sour beer, so the sourness hides in the background. It has a great fruit flavor and leaves a nice dryness behind.
