My buddy Ed brought over a bottle of
Brouwerij St. Bernardus Tokyo to share with friends. The beer pours a golden color with a lofty white colored head that leaves a lacing on the glass as it subsides. The aroma consists of lemon, caramel, wheat, toffee, and grass. The taste is light and wheaty with a refreshing lemon zest. Some pepper, grass, and earth flavors dry out the finish and the carbonation leaves a lasting impression on the tongue. The alcohol content is 6.0% ABV. This was a nice and refreshing wheat beer that was very light on the spices. Overall, it was an easy drinking beer that was quite satisfying.
