Call me crazy, but I am a fan of Beach Bum Blonde Ale from Michelob. The beer pours a medium amber color. It has a nice hop aroma, hinting that it has some flavor. The taste is malty and sweet. Overall it has a very clean and smooth taste. The after taste is accented by hops, but only subtly. The alcohol content is 5.4% ABV. I am a fan of this beer, and it makes for good summer drinking.

I don't think you're crazy at all. I know it gets poor reviews on beer rating sites, but I think it is a great summer beer too. I'm having trouble finding it where I live this year so I was searching for other blonde ale favorites and found your post on my fav summer beer so I thought I'd let you know you're not alone.
