Lawson's Finest Liquids Chinooker'd IPA

My buddy Matt received a bottle of Lawson’s Finest Liquids Chinooker’d IPA and offered to share it with me. The beer pours a murky caramel color with a frothy white head. The aroma consists of sweet grapefruit, pine, spruce, lemon, caramel, and tangerine. The taste is powerful and bitter with lots of pink grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon all resting upon a lofty caramel base. The finish brings out strong pine, spruce, and grassy hops that are extremely bitter and dry out the mouth. The alcohol content is 6.9% ABV. This is wonderful bitter IPA with lots of hop bitterness and plenty of citrus flavors, but just enough caramel sweetness to bring it all together.
